I was born in Bonao, Dominican Republic. After earning Bachelors in Business Administration, I found an opportunity to travel to Virginia in 2004 and began working as carpenter for a construction company.  My family’s entrepreneurship venture rubbed off eventually and I started my own business Optimum Construction in 2010.

I began building my business by taking on construction projects such as exterior and interior renovations,  high budget commercial construction buildings and growing my business in a short time to well over 1 Million dollars in revenue.

After working for 12 years at NASA and managing the 5 billion dollar science budget, Omar de Frias walked away from a $200,000 a year job to follow his passion for entrepreneurship.  He enjoys playing basketball, dancing salsa and playing with his kids.
